Symptoms
Porcine dermatitis nephritis syndrome (PDNS) mostly occurs in 8 week old ~20 week old growing finishing pigs and later rearing pigs. Pigs dispirited, rapid weight loss, ear, back, abdomen and buttocks hindquarters appear on the skin of acute mosquito bites like red, pink or even purpuric rash, often fused bands and plaques were round or irregular uplift, uplift in the central part of the pig spot fester, late scab into dark brown or black necrotic foci, yellow urine. At necropsy the Yellow renal anemia status, renal capsule is difficult to peel, cortex brittle, early renal enlargement, late pale, solid texture, through the renal capsule can be seen scattered in the white spots, necrosis of the size of the bladder, ureter, urine, lymph node swelling, in soil yellow intestinal bleeding.
Two 、 diagnosis
The disease is mainly diagnosed according to the clinical symptoms and pathological changes of autopsy. If further diagnosis is necessary, serological methods, such as ELISA and etiological methods, such as PCR, are available.
Three, prevention and control
Because there is no effective commercial vaccine to prevent porcine dermatitis nephritis syndrome, there is no specific drug can cure the disease. At present, more comprehensive measures such as symptomatic treatment, secondary infection control, and improvement of the resistance of the sick pig are adopted to alleviate the symptoms and promote the recovery of the sick pigs by their immunity at an early date.
The treatment of sick pigs: ceftiofur + mixed tratch 5ml boutique fever thanks to 10ml/ head + dexamethasone combined with intramuscular injection, once daily for 3 days.
Prevention or lighter conditions of pigs (feeding) mixed feeding: every 1000 kilograms of feed: water-soluble amoxicillin, 1000g+, Astragalus immune peptide 1000g (mainly astragalus extract) two bags, used for 1 weeks.
