What measures should be taken in accordance with PRDC in swine respiratory disease syndrome?
Add Time:2013.12.28    Views:615

Respiratory disease syndrome (referred to as PRDC Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex), it is not a single disease, but the general term of swine respiratory diseases, the disease often by viruses, mycoplasma, bacteria, parasites and other factors lead to the occurrence of. Most of the diseases are characterized by the decrease of pig growth rate, the decrease of feed utilization rate, the decrease of appetite, the cough and dyspnea, which seriously affect the economic benefits of pig farms.
1. pathogenic agents
The pathogeny that causes this disease has virus, mycoplasma, bacterium, helminth to wait. In recent years, the most common pathogens are Mycoplasma pneumoniae, blue ear virus PRRSV, circovirus type 2, PCV-2 and swine influenza virus. In particular, the mixed infection of PRRSV and PCV-2 can cause severe damage to lymphocytes in the spleen and lymph nodes, leading to a decrease in the number of lymphocytes and an immune suppression.
2, the onset season and pathogenic conditions
Can occur throughout the year of porcine respiratory disease syndrome in late autumn, winter and spring, the highest incidence rate. Mainly transmitted by direct contact. Poor management, poor sanitation, building insulation is not good, wet ground, indoor air circulation is not good, ammonia, dust and other severe weather catastrophe, exceed the standard, among the high density mixed group, there are stress factors, frequent vaccination, dry cutting, moldy feed, feed nutrient deficiency, can promote the spread of pathogens the control of this disease, increase the difficulty. According to expert statistics, 80% of PRDC is caused by improper feeding and management. In the case of the same pathogen infection, the incidence of PRDC in the pig farm is significantly lower than that of the pig farm with poor management.
3, age of onset
The classic PRDC occurs at 18~20 weeks old and is therefore known as the 18 - week wall. At present, the disease mainly occurs in 6 - 10 weeks old piglets and 13 - 20 weeks old growing pigs. The morbidity was 25--60%, while the fatality rate was 20% - 90%. The smaller the age is, the higher the death rate is. If PRRSV infection occurs before and after weaning, the onset time of PRDC can be 2~3 weeks after weaning. As the temperature of pigs increased, the feed intake decreased and the growth rate slowed down, resulting in 10-25 days longer slaughter time.
4 、 main clinical symptoms
Disease of swine fever, depression, difficulty breathing, breathing, abdominal breathing, cough, nostril outflow mucus or purulent secretions, conjunctivitis, eye swelling, loss of appetite or waste vast, slow growth, weight loss, increased mortality.
5 、 pathological changes
The pathological changes of this disease are varied because of infection pathogens. Diffuse interstitial pneumonia, manifested as pulmonary hemorrhage, congestion, edema, pulmonary interstitial emphysema, pulmonary, meat, have purulent lesions, some cases showed multiple fibrinous serositis, some like lesions of swine mycoplasma pneumonia, liver and kidney congestion and malnutrition, immune organs at different degree the lesions, swollen spleen fester, different degrees of hemorrhage and necrosis, swollen lymph node.
6, prevention and control measures
(1) sow;
We should do basic immunization work such as swine fever, blue ear disease and foot and mouth disease, and inoculate the vaccine such as pseudorabies, nose wilt, Escherichia coli and so on. Pigs can be fed between 1T and 1000g for 7 or 14 days before delivery, and even feed them for 7 days to expel parasites in the body. Sow prenatal potent high 250g+ 1000g available Xinkang Banliao 1T, feed for 7 days, in order to effectively control the Actinobacillus, Pasteurella, Haemophilus parasuis, Streptococcus and Bordetella infections. Immediately after birth, injection of long-acting mother antibody 1 20ml, to prevent the occurrence of postpartum triad of sows.
(2) reserve pig;
At 6 month old, vaccination of Mycoplasma pneumoniae was given once.
(3) boar
It is better to inoculate two times a year for Mycoplasma pneumoniae vaccine.
(4) piglets
Mycoplasma inoculation may be done at 3 weeks to 5 weeks of age.
Piglets in 3, 7 and 21 days of age with the first to do three needles health care.
To have diarrhea pigs available zhilishen extract powder + intestinal teshin + oral rehydration salts mixed drinking water for 5 - 7 days.
Weaning piglets 3 - 5 days, every T feed adding tiamulin fumarate was 1000g+ Kramo Te 1000g+ Forsythia Extract Powder 2 package, for 7 days, can effectively control the occurrence of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella, Haemophilus parasuis, Streptococcus, Bordetella etc..
In the feeding pig group, 13 weeks old, 18 weeks old, each T feed added fumaric acid, 1000g+, 1000g, Forsythia Extract, 2 packs, used for 7 days, can effectively control the occurrence of PRDC.
It is worth noting that, although the cause of PRDC is very complicated, but we still should do the basic work, problems do clinical investigation, concrete analysis of concrete problems, targeted prevention first, treatment plan properly, so as to ensure the healthy and stable herd, improve the economic benefits of pig.
